EUROPE VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR SEAMEN TRAVELLING VIA PARIS

As per French Immigration requirements, all seamen travelling to Europe must hold Europe visa valid for 1st entry point into Europe as well as visa for the destination where they will board the ship prior to departure.

In line with this, please be advised that Singapore Airlines Manila station will strictly follow a “No Visa, No Uplift” policy for all seamen transitting in Paris (CDG).
Thus, visa is required in ALL of the following scenarios:
1.  Seaman is bound to a non-Schengen destination but will transit in CDG.
    Ex: MNL(Manila)-SIN(Singapore)-CDG(Paris)-GRU(Sao Paolo,Brazil)
(Seaman must hold both Schengen and Brazilian Visas prior to departure)
2.  Seaman will transit in CDG and visa will be arranged upon arrival in final  destination.
    Ex: MNL-SIN-CDG-CKY(Conakry, Guinea)
(Seaman must hold both Schengen and Guinea Visas prior to departure)
3.  Seaman is bound to CDG and has an arranged “Ok to Board” or “Visa on Arrival” stamp from CDG Airport Police.
    Ex: MNL-SIN-CDG
(An “Ok to Board” stamp will not be accepted. Seaman must hold Schengen Visa prior to departure)
